Kelvin NgomaBorn on the 1st of July 1997 in a family of four in Lilongwe, Malawi where he is based, struck with the passion of acting while at middle school and finally with the support from family, started acting in 2013, joined a theatre called Ubumwe arts in the same year. Featured his first film in the year 2015 known as Nasiwelo, a local Malawian movie. Then the journey began, his name came to light locally after starring a Malawian local TV show known as Moyo wathu(our life) by Afritrix pictures in which he took a Main role as Ian, a son of a rich widow who was dating his best friend.
He received his first award in the year 2018 as best actor at the Nasfest young theatre makers Awards Gala in the Malawi. Some of the movies he has starred are NYASALAND( Joyce Mhango chavula), THE BOY WHO HARNESSED THE WIND (Chiwetel Ejiofor), FISI (Elson Kambalu) Caroline (Satelite multimedia) Nyambo ( H.D plus), Romeo( Ubumwe arts), innocent soul(Sunrise films), Nasiwelo(ubumwe arts) and a MORINGA commercial ( Netherlands). And some of the stage productions he has featured are, 50 years old baby, the sacrifice, Valentines, A slave in my own land, Mbayela. He looks forward to more projects and working with different people around the world. |
